The splash of color when you unlock a new sync pair in Pokémon Masters EX is hard to forget. You’ll form teams for three-on-three battles and collect Trainers sporting outfits you won’t see anywhere else. The grind to get rare sync pairs can get old if you’re not into collecting, and some events feel a bit gated without spending. Still, if you want to see your favorite Trainers teaming up across regions in ways the mainline games never allow, this one’s got real appeal.
