Most monster battlers focus on stats and spreadsheets, but Dragon Mania Legends wants you to actually raise and pet your dragons like odd scaly puppies. The core loop is all about breeding new dragon species, training them at the Academy, and sending them into battles across brightly decorated islands. Progress slows after a while if you're chasing rare breeds or event exclusives, so anyone allergic to waiting bars or energy timers will get antsy. If you like the idea of building up a dragon-filled island and don't mind a bit of grind, you'll probably get hooked.
